Rich mahan Delivers An LP

If you are somewhat unfamiliar with the sounds of Rich Mahan then let us be among the first to introduce you because his latest release Hot Chicken Wisdom, is an album that features a lot of insight into the underbelly of who he is as an artist and as a person, alongside extremely funny songwriting, you get a great southern country feel that hits the mark a little differently with every song.

This is a full LP that goes through a range of approaches but all in all sticks to this classic style that nails a real blues sound.

There are a lot of memorable riffs and the guitar work across the record is ridiculous along with vocals that have attitude and style, so you get a lot of great layers of blues rock as you listen through.

This record is a seriously good time and people who are fans of real blues guitar playing and that little touch of looseness behind the songwriting will love this record because it displays a lot of that plus more.

The record has charisma to it that has a way of sort of drawing you in.

Check this one out when you get a chance, we would give it a 9 out of 10 without question.

"Hot Chicken Wisdom is dedicated to the memory of Brian Harrison, good friend and producer who passed away after the completion of Blame Bobby Bare. Brian was the person who introduced me to hot chicken and first took me to the OG Prince's Hot chicken Shack when I moved to Nashville. He had a way of looking at everything and distilling it down to a humorous perspective that usually provided some valuable insight. I told someone at his memorial that he had hot chicken wisdom, and the title for the album was born right there." - Rich Mahan
