An In-Depth R&B Album Release From Bryant Keith

An album release from Bryant Keith brings out a lush and smooth R&B flow crossed into a hip-hop vibe that blends old and new school approaches together to create an atmosphere that you don't want to leave.

The Therapy With U LP is packed with character and delivers such bold and full-bodied songs that tell stories from different perspectives, but all have a way of interconnecting with each other at the same time.

As a matter of fact, a lot of these songs make this record feel like a concept record which I'm pretty sure it is, and the tracks go through these different emotions and situations. The way it's all laid out is quite brilliant.

This record has a lot of attention to details strewn across its creation, but it never gets in the way of its purpose or messages let alone the soulful deliveries on the vocals and the lyrical phrasing on the rapping.

There's a lot about this release that sort of pushes the envelope a little bit and you can feel how it was built and created to actually tell a story in different phases.

This kind of thing takes a lot of thought process and the way that it's all put together in arranged is something that stands out to me.

There are definitely singles that stand on their own two feet but listening to this record from beginning to end is the proper way to soak it in and that's exactly what it was meant for.

A lot of these tracks have massive hooks and choruses that bounce around in your head for hours or sometimes days after the songs have ended and to me, the only way to satiate that is to play them again which is smart songwriting.

All the vocal performances from start to finish our intense and beautifully delivered with a great level of intensity and a dynamic balance that gives you a sense of the level of musicianship that it took to make this record.

Again, there are some classic old-school style R&B approaches here, especially in the production and sometimes in the vocals as well, but I love how they blend that into a current platform and make everything feel fresh.

I also really enjoyed some of the more experimental undertones production-wise throughout the records course and you can tell that this was all put together by someone that has a true love and drive for his craft.

This was most certainly a passion project and it's one that's done with a mass amount of character which is one of the things that you end up attaching yourself to straight away but that character sticks strong throughout the record as it goes through its phases.

This has a lot more layers that can be peeled back than you would first expect and some surprises around some of the corners as well so I would definitely suggest listening to this record all the way through in one great sitting.

I feel like we live in a very single-based society which there's nothing wrong with I suppose, but I'm a fan of full albums like this one that have messages and has a purpose and some meaning behind it.

This was an outstanding release from an artist I will be keeping an eye on from here on out.

Giving this a 9 out of 10 without question.

I would suggest you find yourself 35 minutes to put aside, pop on some headphones, and really swim through the layers of this album because it's well worth your time.
