A Genuine Single Release From Two Inch Voices

A new single release from Two Inch Voices brings out a uniquely personal and one-on-one tonality that hits with a youthful vibrancy but with a maturity in performance and the whole thing boasts so much character that you just can't look away.

"Witches" come through with an energy that feels almost like a live performance and when you let it soak in it becomes infectious and that energy becomes yours.

There's something so almost haunting about this track and its edgy undertone and anthemic approach that has a strange way of hitting this crossover between real deal classic rock and also this 90s underground alternative rock at the same time.

It's like Neil Young meets Pearl Jam in a really weird way but it works so well because all of that just has heart and tells a story that also adds to the lusciousness of the song itself.

One of my favorite aspects about this is how it's kind of stripped down in a way and you mainly hear vocals and guitars which is maybe something that attributes to that live performance feeling I mentioned earlier but either way, it's amazing how the song sounds so full-bodied with such a stripped-down approach.

I think it takes a lot to be able to create something like that and obviously this comes from people that have a true love for their craft and I don't just mean singing or guitar playing. I mean song writing and actually performing.

When you hear this song, it makes you want to see them live so that you could capture some of that energy for yourself right in front of your face.

I think that's half the appeal of this track and it also has such bountiful melodies and cinematic backbone as you could certainly picture this in the scene of a film,

For me, this was a great little escape for a quick moment in time where the actual passion of the song sort of sweeps you away for a little bit and you forget about your reality.

This is the kind of song that causes memories of your own to pop into your head at random and feels like it's yours almost as if it could have been the soundtrack to a chapter of part of your own life.

These are the things that make this song So connective and so alluring but it works like a charm.

You rarely hear a song like this that has such a particular energy and particular heart that also can give you the underbelly of nostalgia at times feeling like this song was something that you yourself wrote or have been through.

This track speaks volumes for Two Inch Voices and I think it's the kind of song that makes you start paying attention to a group because at that point you're going to want to start seeing what else they release.

Upon listening to this track I did take a little bit of a dive into their back catalog on Spotify with tracks that date back to 2011 and it was a lot of fun to follow the evolution of how these guys did their thing.

You can pull together their influences and how they use them together to create something refreshing but familiar at the same time.

This is music that makes you think and feel.

An absolutely wonderful single from a group that I will be following from here on out.

If you are a fan of rock music that has Soul, then this is for you.

I'll give this an 8 out of 10 easy.
