The Hill

The Hill is founded upon the songs of Jon Kowit, a music junkie and former record store employee, who had never released any music prior to this project. Reconnecting with indie music steel guitar/multi-instrumentalist Mike "Slo-Mo" Brenner (Jason Molina, Wild Pink, Marah, Susan Werner), lead to a 12-song debut LP, entitled "Get In Line" produced by Brenner. Working on the follow up, The Hill released a single "Let This Storm Pass" in Sept. 2024. A new single "See You There," will be released on May 16, 2025 and a 12-song LP, "Noble Station" is expected in the summer of 2025. The Hill has been a featured artist on WXPN and several tracks from the debut album have received airplay on terrestrial radio in U.S., Canada, Australia and South Africa.
