Spotlight Interview with Arianna Kant

A new and refreshing full-album release from Arianna Kant comes through with a drive of emotion and a beautifully stripped-down feel that lets you get taken through each song as if they were chapters of a story.

The Deep album is comprised mostly of piano and vocals and the songs themselves can feel theatrical, cinematic, powerful, and impactful as the artist pulls it all off in this almost unplugged approach giving everything this wonderful sheen.

Everything feels very personal, and Kant has no problem letting out what she needs to on this record. There are little boundaries and tons of upfront honesty, and these are the things that make this record have bot a youthful undertone but a mature sense as well.

These are singer-songwriter pieces performed on piano with tons of dynamic range and the ability to pull out performances that can really hit that sweet spot.

The performances both vocally and instrumentally are passionate. They have that emotional backbone that drives the songs and with that, they come through with a feeling of awe.

Kant wears her heart on her sleeves, and it makes for quite an impactful record, and she's got soul and a genuine tonality to the way she does her thing.

That stripped down feel also lets you really pay attention to the words on the songs which also helps take you on those journeys and through those chapters, experiences, and emotions.
