An Honest and Catchy Single from Hannah

A new single release from Hannah Cheetham delivers a unique breed of honesty and in doing so it gives off a lush character all in the form of a pop-coated soundscape that feels genuine like she's giving a little piece of herself in the song, and this gives a character which you end up latching on to very quickly.

"Butterflies" has a bit of a youthful undertone to it and that subtle but emotional drive pushes the song's intensity especially when her vocal performance gets bigger as it does during the choruses.

It's moments like those that you can feel that intensity Thrive and when you do feel like this was from life experience and every word that she's singing has truth to it.

The whole thing has a beautiful soundscape with a little bit of an edgy underbelly at times because it is a pop song, but it also has a little bit of a rock tone too with guitars that drive it and even a really great solo section guitar-wise which all gives the song a little bit of a pop rock or even classic rock influence.

I definitely adore the combination of that rock edginess and the color that the song delivers from the way she performs her vocals and the premise of the song itself.

The whole thing was arranged incredibly well, and even has a little bit of a cinematic backbone to it honestly but it's really the vocals that grab you because the song is very relatable of course, and it has a passionate delivery with an energy that's captured so well.

Listening to the song makes you want to go see her performing live because the energy is indeed perfectly balanced, and the songs intensity levels swell and sway giving it the feeling of being alive and breathing which is something I love about this track.

Hannah is an artist who is not afraid to sing her mind when she releases a song and any kind of art form that is done with fewer boundaries or walls built around it is its truest form.

Super well and the song is relatable to just about everyone as I mentioned earlier. The whole thing is a question. In the chorus she asks, "will you catch me if I fall?" so you get the sense that this is a special person to her, and the emotion is intense, so she has to question the level of that intensity or that relationship per se.

This is something we've all felt if we're old enough and have been in a few relationships especially if we've fallen hard or have been swept up in the moment.

This is really what the song captures and why it feels so real. It captures the sense of being swept up in the moment and that little hint of being afraid.

That little bit of fear comes along with being swept up and so Hannah really took that whole feel and aesthetic and nailed it.

A beautifully woven and performed single from beginning to end, this is more than worth checking out especially if you're into rock-laden love songs that feel cinematic and have an impact but are still catchy and memorable.

Believe me, that hook and chorus sticks in your head for hours or even days after the song has ended and the only way to satiate that is to listen to it again which is brilliant.

Check this track out as soon as you can and see how it affects you.
