"Everybody Talks" certainly feels and sounds like it came from a bit of life experience and during its course, you're able to hear some of Brian's inner thoughts come out, and I love this aspect because that means he's giving a little piece of himself into his music, and this is what I want from a pop artist.
The track is built with an outstanding array of instrumentation and this fresh and almost bubbly pop undertone as its production is super clean and let's everything shine.
It's been quite some time since I've heard a pop song that lays out this many hooks in one track and some of these hooks end up bouncing around in your brain for hours or even days after the song has ended and the only way to satiate that is to listen to this track again.
This can be boiled down to smart songwriting, but I think Brian has a natural knack for doing this kind of thing.
The textures between the keys and guitars are brilliant and the way the vocals come in is smart because it layers this whole extra melody on top of everything throughout the entire track and those textures and elements seem to really complement each other.
One of the things that really grabs you is the pure energy this track delivers as well.
The track itself musically already has a bursting energy to it but when the vocals come into play it adds something that balances things out so that the energy is still electric but well-rounded and this is something that lets the song be super infectious.
On top of that, it's an unbelievably danceable track because it blends in these almost disco-esque pop elements and a beat that cuts through everything in the song so that it's the strongest thing in it.
This brings me to the mix of the track which is brilliant. A lot of people don't like to talk too much about mixes of songs but this is an important factor with a track like this because not only is everything incredibly well balanced, but it's done in a way that lets it become a radio-friendly style pop song so that you want to get up off your butt and start dancing immediately.
You can tell this was done by someone who has a pure love for his craft and clearly creating music has a deeper meaning for Brian.
This is evident with this track especially as you can tell there was a lot of attention to detail here, but there's also some heart involved, and it never loses that character or persona that it starts within the first place and that might be the most important aspect of it all.
As an artist, Brian thrives and can create music with no walls built around it which I think is important for any artist.
As a producer, Brian has taught himself to create high-level, clean, and poppy songs that have meaning behind them but also make you want to move, and have a way to brighten your day a little bit.
For example, if you listen to this track first thing in the morning, it's going to turn your day around and set the tone.
