A Classic Metal Album from Persevera Hits Hard

An album release from Persevera delivers a classic metal soundscape that brings in thrash, melodic, and other sublets of the genre all rolled into one to create a powerful and righteous hard rock and heavy metal atmosphere that fans of the genre will be able to get pulled away from their surroundings and sent to this whole other sort of world for a chunk of time and that in itself is a gift in music.

The Genesis album comes through with a massive Sonic presence and soundscape.

One of my favorite aspects about this whole record is the combination of these sorts of animated and impactful vocals with these edgy riffs and classic aesthetics that really make this record feel a little bit of nostalgia packing a punch at the same time.

The combination of old school and new school really come together well and there's something about the energy level of this record that makes it feel almost like a live performance with players that are feeding off of each other the entire time.

The energy is completely electric throughout this whole record, and you get a blend of '80s, 90s, 2000s, and new school metal approaches because you have this sort of classic guitar tone and these vast riffs that do hit hard when they want to but also deliver these freeing and edgy melodies at the same time.

I love a record that has riffs that stick with you as well as the choruses of songs do, and this is one of those records for sure.

Listening to it certainly makes you want to see these guys live simply because of this kind of energy is packed into a recording like this, then seeing them live must be amazing.

The songs come through with the feeling of being alive and breathing at certain points but what this record really has a lot of, is personality and story.

These songs have a way of interconnecting to a certain extent, so it almost feels like it's a concept album of sorts.

You don't really get the full spectrum of what the album has to offer by just listening to one or two tracks. You really should be soaking this record in as a whole from the beginning to the end.

I feel like that's how this record was meant to be heard.

This is something I love as well because not only do they give a little bit of nostalgia in the songwriting and approach, but they also released this great, robust, full-bodied record in the form of an album, and this is something that I grew up loving.

We live in too much of a single-based society these days and so when I hear a great heavy rock or metal record that's in the form of a full-length album, it makes me smile just because listening to an album like this is an experience.

This record serves as a bit of an escape because it's got a little bit of a gothic undertone and edginess to it and by the time the record is over, if you listen to the whole thing, then you have to react yourself back to reality again and God have I missed that.

The vocals across the span of this record are perfect because again, they are animated and rich with character and persona which is something that also has been missing in rock music for quite some time.

This whole record was built with attention to detail but also with a lot of heart and this is what makes them almost like a classic arena rock metal band.

I'm very happy to have come across this record and cannot wait to see what else they release next.

Check this record out as soon as you can and do not be afraid to turn it nice and loud.
