A Bright and Vivacious New Release from Ferdinand Rennie

The new release from Ferdinand Rennie delivers a vivacious and colorful dance-pop soundscape that comes through riddled with character and an electric energy that becomes quickly infectious.

"Fashion Is My Passion" has a beaming and bright vibe to it and that lush and full-bodied dance sound it's all the sweet spots and more as it does play off of certain classic '90s dance feels, but also hits a much more refreshing and current Vibe at the same time.

This combination of classic and fresh sounds really makes this song pack a bit of a punch and it feels great to listen to this track nice and loud especially first thing in the morning because it really will set the tone for the day.

The song features robust synths that sparkle and shine, and a heavy-handed beat that gives the song a wonderful drive, but it's all accompanied by these great come-in belting and gives the song the personality that it needed to push the envelope.

What's even more fun is that the single comes with two different remixes that each let different elements of the song come bursting through and this is an aspect that I enjoyed because with the remixes, you can hear a different dynamic balance which lets you enjoy the song and a little bit of a different way.

There's also a great DJ remix that manages to pack a little bit more of a robust punch than the original even.

Either way you go all three versions of this track are outstanding and really showcase an artist that has a pure love for his craft.

Ferdinand Rennie has been in the music game for a very long time and began his career in the '80s. The Scotland artist was featured on Britain's Got Talent in 2022 and has received plenty of praise and accolades for his work.

Home listening to the single I took it upon myself to take a bit of a deep dive into his back catalog on Spotify and I'm glad that I did because there is a massive number of releases that are outstanding and show different sides of the performer as an artist, and as a person.

No matter what he is doing you're getting a little bit of showmanship and a lot of personality with everything that Ferdinand releases and it's a beautiful thing to soak in.

One of my favorite things to do when I find an artist I truly enjoy like this one, is to sort of go through their previous stuff to listen to their evolution as an artist.

This is a fun thing to do especially if you have the time to do it.

There are plenty of other releases I would suggest checking out especially one called "Chase the Sun" released in 2022 along with another called "All Will Be Good".

But again, there's a lot to soak in with Ferdinand's catalog so kick back and enjoy yourself listening to this stuff.

I would certainly suggest starting with "Fashion Is My Passion". 

But the whole catalog is well worth your time.
