WRENNI

Meet WRENNI, a rising indie pop singer-songwriter whose music embodies resilience and empowerment. This Indigenous queer and otherkin artist began writing songs in 1996 but only released her debut album in 2020. Her lyrics blend fearless satire with emotional depth, drawing from her experiences of bankruptcy and discrimination. With captivating hooks and a distinctive voice, WRENNI is carving a unique space in the indie pop scene, inspiring others to rise above negativity. With a discography that includes albums "Shieldmaiden", "One More Fantasy", and "Burn Your Life Down" WRENNI unveiled her fourth studio album “How to Hate Me” on October 22, 2024. No stranger to the stage, WRENNI has performed at notable events such as the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, Winnipeg Jazz Festival, Recovery Day, Whoop and Hollar Folk Fest, Winnipeg Pride Festival, Night Market, Manitoba Food Truck Battles, Indigenous Peoples Day and various local venues.
