West of Fennario came together in Denver through a shared love of live improvisation and the music of the Grateful Dead. What began as a cover band quickly turned into a collaborative songwriting project, driven by curiosity and a deep musical connection. Driven by the soulful vocals of lead singer @Sophie West, their original songs pull from a wide range of influences—sometimes gritty, sometimes melodic, always open-ended. Rooted in tradition but always exploring, West of Fennario isn’t chasing nostalgia—they’re building something of their own.
