Waymon Hudson is a Costa Rica–based singer, songwriter, memoirist, and musical theatre composer originally from the United States. A queer, late-deafened artist, he creates music through vibration, emotion, and memory — transforming silence into sensual, tactile pop with singer-songwriter depth. His songs are confessions you can feel — intimate, physical, and raw. They explore love not as sound, but as touch: a fingertip down your arm, the rhythm of shared breath, the echo of a goodbye whispered too late. His debut single “Ruin Me Slowly” introduced the world to this new creative era — darkly sensual pop/R&B that you feel in your bones. His new single “Before I Go” expands the story, trading heat for heartbreak and showcasing the quiet power of self-love and survival. Together, these songs form the emotional core of Hudson’s forthcoming album Through My Skin — a project that invites listeners to stop hearing and start feeling. Beyond his work as a recording artist, Hudson is also the author of the memoir Notes from a Sissy and the writer/lyricist of Speakeasy: A New Musical. His artistry blurs the line between confession and creation, proving that even in silence, the truth still sings.
