Loving Backwards

Loving Backwards releases 'Rubbish Twilights' a modern psych-rock album poised to make an impact. Loving Backwards is an upcoming psych-rock band, a profound avant-garde project of five musicians channeling an unsettling, raw sensation The band's debut album "Rubbish Twilights" blends vintage psych-rock with a modern edge, unfolding like a hypnotic voyage through illusion and disillusionment. Inspired by the contrast between perception and reality, Loving Backwards crafts expansive, immersive soundscapes. This album is set to leave its mark. There is something about the Loving Backwards sound that is symbolic to the style of art & communication of current times: psychedelic rock tunes that feel like they should last eight minutes are condensed into three-minute musical spirals, blending the sound of then with the ears of now. The band's leader and main composer Or Izekson is a guitarist and producer based in an off-grid commune in the remote countryside of Ostfriesland, North-West Germany, where he also operates a recording studio. Izekson moved there with his family last summer, following the unprecedented surge of violence and insecurity in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Having lost loved ones in the October 7th attack, all band members continue to advocate for a just resolution to the conflict - one they believe remains the best answer to extremism on both sides. This sentiment is widely shared by Tel Aviv’s globally renowned music scene.
