Welcome to the warm and descriptive world of Ted Stanley. His new single "Shoreline" tells a story that lets you visualize everything and keeps that emotion in hand with this subtle Americana song.
PR:
Ted Stanley began writing songs in New York as a way to deal with emotional times and found it to be an outlet that helped him. "'Bottle in my Hand' was written after a dear friend lost his battle with drug and alcohol abuse. He died in the harsh winter 1999 on the streets of Manhattan, homeless and alone. `The cause of death was registered as hyperthermia, but the real cause was the insensitivity of his 'friends' who failed to notice how far he had deteriorated. ' Bottle' was my way of dealing with the guilt," explains Ted. He soon began recording his music and collaborating with others to create, almost always drawing from life experience and those who surround him.
"Shoreline" marks a change in direction of both musicality and purpose: writing about the things that matter to me," says the songwriter.
