Tasks

Tasks is a singer and/or songwriter and/or visual artist, but he rarely does these things simultaneously. In addition to one-man pop-up shows at random locations (bus stops, forests, street corners, freeway onramps, etc.) and a wealth of visual art, he has been releasing a variety of songs for the last couple of years. 

He was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, a.k.a. The Valley. He can read, and has not been to jail. He has however been to other countries and enjoyed those experiences immensely, so one might say he has a "world view". THIS IS IMPORTANT: You've seen him on YouTube, but you don't remember where. More than diamonds, more than gold... He may or may not have a working-class background, which may or may not play into his songwriting at times. He knows exactly what he's doing. We should all be so lucky. With any musical compositions, Tasks seeks to bridge the divide between the pop music that we can't ignore and the independent music that we dig up on our own, an attempt at presenting "the best of both worlds" (which is a common expression and it absolutely applies here). Top 40? No. Sincere? Yes. Authentic? In Spanish you say "auténtico", but Tasks doesn't speak Spanish.
