David's musical odyssey began in 2004 on the then flourishing platform, MySpace, where he took his first steps into the world of rhythms. In 2005, he joined with two other talented individuals to form the formidable group known as “Block Scholars.” They took home the prestigious “Hip Hop Song Of The Year” award at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards for their song “All Of My Life" in 2014. Despite the group's eventual dissolution, It was on his third solo album, “Slimstrumentals Vol III,” where David's musical ingenuity truly shined. The album's standout track, "SuperFly'd," captured the attention of listeners far beyond the borders of Colorado. In a surprising turn of events, "SuperFly'd" climbed the charts in Norway, making waves on not one, but two iTunes charts. On January 21, 2024, the song secured a notable position, claiming position 13 on the Dance chart and position 84 on the General Genres chart. Later in the year, June 25th, "SuperFly'd" hit on the France iTunes Dance chart at 46 for a trifecta.
