Schwepsky
Philadelphia-Based “Schwepsky” presents “High and Alone”; the debut single from the upcoming self-titled EP (Winter 2026). The development of this upcoming EP began in the Spring of 2026, and has been imagined as a singular, emotional and political statement by Singer-Songwriter/Bassist Damon Kardon and Drummer Mike Hurst. It is sonically influenced by 90’s and 2000’s Desert/ Stoner Rock, Doom Metal and Garage Rock from bands such as DFA 1979, QOTSA, The White Stripes, The Sword, Red Fang and Corrosion of Conformity. Led Zeppelin is their north star. This is the first release from this duo and sets the tone for the upcoming EP. The bones of the “House of Schwepsky” are strong with this pair’s focus on heavy-riff/fuzzed out stomp-rock, metal and blues. Damon Kardon: Vox, Bass, Guitar Mike Hurst: Drums Mike Hurst & Damon Kardon are Schwepsky. For Fans of Doom Rock and Stoner Metal @Schwepsky on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
