Sander Sanchez has a brand new track he just dropped that most certainly breaches a few boundaries and reaches into a very current, hard-edged pop approach that makes me think of bands like Imagine Dragons, but with loads of different flavors in there that make it unique to the artist himself.
This single speaks volumes for the artist, as it is an insanely radio-friendly approach to the point where it's absolutely something you would hear on any major pop radio station at any point in time. This is something that goes to show you how independent artists can tap into those kinds of soundscapes themselves.
Being able to produce your own tracks has come such a long way, and if you have the right ear and practice, ability, and patience, you can produce a track that is just as good as any major artist out there.
Sander delivers something that showcases an exact example of what I mean.
The beat is a bit fierce, with lots of kick and snare action that lets the song thrive and feel cutting.
This is accompanied by deep piano notes and sharp synthesizers that drive the song forward, along with the artists will soulful vocal approach, still very tightly wrapped in a pop overcoat.
What really grabs you is that vocal performance all around. It is a bit intense, but in a good way. It displays loads of emotion, and he's able to really create this space of sound that feels unique.
His voice also has a bit of a deep tone to it, and this works amazingly with the soulful approach because it has a bit of a powerful sound to it.
The track is eclectic and a bit diverse as it dips into other forms of electronic music as it unfolds, but all in all this is a heavy-handed pop single that leans on an alternative underbelly, and he's able to lace in all of that passion on top of it.
The fact that within this very radio-style pop single, there is an experimental approach taking turns you don't quite expect here and there it's wonderful.
This shows how the artist is influenced by a slew of different styles of pop music and can really infuse those within this one track alone.
This is not the kind of song you want to miss, especially if you like edgy pop songs that are unafraid to take different directions at any given time and stick in your head for hours after it has ended.
This is a song you listen to loud.
The whole thing has an amazing Shimmer to it in terms of that production, and I feel like there was a lot of attention paid to that aspect of the song as well.
The energy he puts into it by way of his singing lines up with the aesthetic of the song damn near perfectly.
The single comes with an accompanying music video that also showcases some of his presence as an artist visually, along with adding in some sort of '90s tripped-out visuals that go right along with certain segments of the song, and I suggest watching the video the first time you listen to the track.
Either way, check this one out, and I would definitely keep my eye out for more music from this artist.
The video is below, so waste no more time and watch it now.
The song is called "the SUN", and to me, it shows how Sander Sanchez is paving his own path in the pop world.
