PRAYERS Returns With Spanish-Language Single “No Tengo Calma” and Announces Fall Tour

PRAYERS, the project of artist Leafar Seyer, returns with the first chapter of a new Spanish-language era leading into the forthcoming four-song EP ‘ORACIONES.’ “No Tengo Calma” and its cinematic video arrive September 11, followed by an extensive fall tour, including an appearance at Darker Waves Festival with Morrissey and The Smashing Pumpkins.
PRAYERS, the project of artist, musician and cultural provocateur Leafar Seyer, will release a new single and music video, “No Tengo Calma,” on September 11, 2026. The track will arrive on Spotify, Apple Music and all major streaming platforms alongside a cinematic new visual that opens the door to the next chapter of Seyer’s world. In support of the single and upcoming new music, PRAYERS has also announced an extensive fall tour kicking off in October, dubbed the ‘No Tengo Calma Tour.’
Known for defining the movement of Chologoth, Seyer has long fused goth, electronic, punk, and Chicano identity with street-rooted storytelling and dark romanticism into a language entirely his own. His work has always lived in the tension between beauty and danger, devotion and defiance, love and survival. With “No Tengo Calma,” he leans deeper into that emotional fire. The single, and all music from the upcoming EP ‘ORACIONES,’ is entirely in Spanish and was written as a love letter from Mexico to the world.
The new video and single for “No Tengo Calma” is part one of a two-part storyline inspired by Romeo and Juliet, reimagined through Seyer’s unmistakable creative lens. The first installment introduces Romeo, while the second video will introduce Juliet and bring the story together in full. The result is a visual and musical statement that feels both timeless and brutally personal, carrying the weight of romance, tragedy, identity and fate. Powerful, emotional and infectious, “No Tengo Calma” and the upcoming EP expands the PRAYERS Chologoth movement while staying rooted in the cultural duality, raw honesty and fearless individuality that have defined his work from the beginning.
“This new music is deeply personal to me. ‘No Tengo Calma’ is about that fire inside you when love, pain and survival all collide. I’m excited for people to hear where PRAYERS is going with this song and the new music, and even more excited to bring it to life on tour. ORACIONES is a love letter from Mexico to the world, and this is just the beginning.” - Leafar Seyer
Originally emerging from San Diego’s Sherman Heights, Seyer built PRAYERS from lived experience, spiritual rebellion and a refusal to fit neatly into anyone else’s expectations. His art has always challenged stereotypes around masculinity, identity, faith, street culture and goth music, creating a lane that did not exist before him. Having brought Cholo Goth from San Diego’s underground to major stages including Coachella, Seyer continues to build a sound defined by synth-driven darkness, punk urgency and raw storytelling drawn from real life, Mexican culture, Chicano identity and the spiritual tension between love, survival and transformation.
