Pleasantville is the electrifying new band created by indie rocker, songwriter and Pleasantville, NY resident Aaron David Gleason and his collaborator, esteemed vocalist and songwriter Emma Freeman. Pleasantville’s debut album THESE EMBERS is set for release in the summer of 2025. Singles from the album have already received a host of critical acclaim, with features in Rolling Stone magazine (named One of 10 Bands to Look Out For), Westchester Magazine and WFUV. In THESE EMBERS Aaron shares his emotional journey dealing with pandemic-related trauma, as well as his wry observations on life which have become a hallmark of his songwriting. When Aaron and Emma come together, they bring a set of nine new mini-existential crises to song…in the best possible way! THESE EMBERS was written and recorded in Atlanta, Georgia at Big Trouble studios and produced by Daniel Gleason of Grouplove fame and mixed by TJ Elias.
