NUDNIK is Robert Marc Lieblein. A “one-man show” American Alternative rock band from Las Vegas. In 2015, Robert started creating experimental synth music and drafted the moniker of “Nudnik” for his conceptions. A realization of his love for playing guitar and writing song lyrics followed which lead to his music starting to evolve into more traditional song structures. His debut album “iNODE” is a amplification of these efforts. “iNODE” is at times a dark and sullen offering about the state of the world we live in. At other times, it’s a straight forward slap in the face. With conceptual overtones, the album is based in an apocalyptic world, the narrative of vanished love, distorted communications and abysmal loneliness are abundant. Mellow one moment and harsh the next but always deep and intuitive, the music and lyrics hollow a brief glimmer of hope, if only lasting momentarily. Spectral guitars with atmospheric synths and perpetual rhythms with determined vocals are the staple of the NUDNIK sound. Nudnik’s musical influences range from Duran Duran, Love & Rockets, Jane’s Addiction to Nine Inch Nails, Wilco and Radiohead. Future goals include: music video collaborations with filmmakers, live performances with a full band, and a follow up album to “iNODE”.
