Mitchell Broodley is a modern country artist, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends Southern roots with the grounded perspective he’s found in Vermont. A South Carolina native now based in the Green Mountains, Broodley crafts emotionally driven country songs shaped by clean production, strong melodies, and lived-in storytelling. Music has followed Broodley through every stage of life. He grew up playing piano and singing in church, performed in punk and rock bands throughout his teens, and later worked as a producer and engineer for other artists. In his early twenties, he received a record opportunity in Nashville but chose to step away and attend graduate school, building a career outside the music industry. Years later, during the pandemic and just as he became a father, Broodley returned to songwriting with a renewed sense of purpose. Writing and producing his own material, his sound now reflects real experiences with distance, ambition, love, and family. His breakout holiday release “Except for Christmas Day” charted to a peak of #1 on two Amazon Music charts and connected with listeners worldwide, marking the beginning of a return that feels less like a debut and more like a homecoming.
