I’m a fiction writer expanding into songwriting, currently introducing my debut single, “Is It You.” The song is also the title track of my forthcoming romance-drama novel and was written as the emotional centerpiece for its envisioned film adaptation - capturing the story’s final moments and enduring themes of love, loss, and destiny. Music has always been part of my DNA. Growing up as the youngest of three brothers in a deeply musical family, I was surrounded by creativity and success - top 40 hits, Grammy awards, and platinum records were part of everyday life (https://www.discogs.com/artist/430458-Rick-Iantosca). While my brothers went on to achieve commercial success, I developed my own artistic voice through storytelling, blending narrative and music in a more cinematic, emotionally driven way. “Is It You” reflects that fusion - crafted not just as a standalone song, but as a piece of a larger narrative world. My novel, Is It You, follows Chase Marino, a young network television page who helps Sophia Ivanova, a Russian Olympic silver medalist, defect from the Green Room during a live appearance on Good Morning America. Their decision sparks an international crisis and a sweeping journey marked by danger, sacrifice, and a love that ultimately defines their lives. Now, I’m seeking to place my first commercial songs with artists, producers, and music supervisors who connect with emotionally rich, story-driven material.
