Matt DeAngelis - "Livin' It"

Matt DeAngelis is back with "Livin' It" which portrays another story, something the artist and songwriter does a lot of with his music.

So what's the message here?

"Livin' It" is a song that was conceived during the pandemic and is meant to convey the fearful and unknown world we continue to live in with reluctance for what is to come. We tend to look to happier times of bygone eras, while longing for relief that we pray tomorrow might bring. The path is not clear in the present, but we must continue to have the patience needed to see through the uncertainty we continue to face. To live with the mindset of a youth, being children at heart, is what we all truly desire. A time when the streets were safe and people were not trying to escape reality with drug induced ecstacy.  Although the future is still uncertain, there is still hope in living if we're living it through a higher power," Matt DeAngelis

The music video shows a great eye for creating visuals to go along with the single.

BIO:

The story of how Matt DeAngelis got his roots in music begins with the fact that his father was a pianist and composer and mother a poet. Perhaps he inherited some of those creative genes from his parents. ​Matt began tinkering at the piano in a more serious way when he was 6 or 7 years old and had always been a writer of sorts, laying out short stories for the love of doing it. ​

It was when he was around 8 that he wrote his first song. His love for the craft only grew more intense as he grew older and now has a number of releases on Spotify from albums to singles. 

A recent cover of "Dust in The Wind" along with the rock version of "Rock and a Hard Place" are among some of the more recent singles.

"I think that both the original and stripped versions came out excellent, and I am equally happy with both of them. I have come to appreciate them in different ways but am still highly satisfied with both results. I had an incredible time recording these tracks and music video to the original song. For the stripped version, I recorded a more mellow lead vocal, and the guitar solo is a laid back simpler acoustic version," says Matt of his releases.

"Livin' It" is available on all major streaming outlets and the artist is always working on new material for upcoming releases.
