Louise Aubrie Drops "Vienna" as She Ramps Up for A Bigger Release

If you're not too familiar with the sounds of Louise Aubrie, then let us be among the first to introduce you, as the artist recently dropped a single that hits elements of everything from electronic rock to alternative, and plenty in between. The new single manages to portray such a great level of persona, as she digs into some of the aspects that we forget about in life.
"Vienna" has a lot to do with making sure that we get our break. Time to ourselves for rest. Something that's often put to the side so that we can get things done. But it's also about going someplace to start fresh.
The blending of keyboards and guitars gives this a lavish rock style and soundscape.
The guitar work most certainly lets the song Lean Into an alt-rock overtone, and the song does have a great punch to it.
This is a big driver for the song, and it seems that a lot of the energy feeds off of that.
Louise is an outstanding vocalist who isn't afraid to dip into her inner thoughts and let them come out for all to soak in.
One of my favorite parts of this track is the post-choruses because it goes into this descending line and Louise pulls off these beautiful melodies that feel natural and flowing.
It's also cool to hear a song that is melodically thriving like this one is, all while still keeping that edge and alternative style attached.
This is definitely something that hit hard when it wanted to, but still kept the message intact, and the melodies heavy-handed.
The artist definitely has a natural knack for writing strong hooks, as the choruses are absolutely one of them, but there are other ones embedded throughout the track. Even the verses have catchy melodies to them, and the way that she performs them has a unique approach as well.
She's not reinventing the wheel, but rather creating something that has an energetic forefront and an expansive set of layers that come together, creating her own rock atmosphere.
The keyboard sections add something a little extra as well. They build on some of the expansive layers I'm talking about, but also give the song a different texture, which serves it amazingly well.
The single has an outstanding production to it that feels polished but still slightly indie at the same time. I think that's exactly what she was going for, and that was completely nailed.
"Vienna" feels like starting anew. It's a song that talks about relocating to a new place; a big city like Los Angeles, so she could see the magic for herself.
The city beckons her, and she wants to go, so she can see the place where it all started. The magic of film, the brilliance of how we grew up watching certain movies and hearing their soundtracks, and how that affected us as we grew up.
When we were young, movies were absolute magic. They took us away from wherever we were and whatever we were doing and put us in an entirely different place altogether.
That was part of the beauty of it all; the escapism.
And now, it's about her escaping to that place that built all of that. The place that invented escapism.
It's quite a cool sentiment, and you can catch some of those through her lyrics. Still, all in all, this is a banger of a single that definitely shines in terms of not only its energy, but bringing some of that excitement of going to that place and seeing those things, experiencing certain parts of life you can't where you are now.
It's a very intense thing wanting to go to a place like that and be a part of what helps shape you in your eyes.
So, in that sense, it's a very beautiful song.
This is definitely a single that can be interpreted in different ways, depending on who's listening.
I definitely picked up on the sense of escape and wonder coming through this blissful pop-rock single.
