Joshua McCooey releases a personal and heartfelt new single, "Goodbye Before December"
Joshua McCooey began his musical journey alongside his dad, a musician who began releasing his own material in 2020 as a form of staying mentally healthy. Joshua began writing that same year.

Joshua worked on songs, but life got in the way, and they never got completed until one finally did.Â
​
Once Joshua wrote a track he was really proud of, he got the itch, and it hasn't stopped since.
​
"My music became my own personal diary of all of my life experiences. Now, every time I look back at an old song, I’m reminded of how I started, and what I’ve learned since then. I still have so much more to learn, but I’m ecstatic that, through my music, people will be able to take that journey with me," says Joshua.
The new song is the latest in a group of recently released singles, all well worth checking out. His musical horizons are constantly expanding.
