John Boger

John Boger is a 22-year-old musician and producer who likes to create music of all genres and styles. He is influenced by artists from all walks of life; Nine Inch Nails, Charli XCX, Depeche Mode, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Janet Jackson to name a few. John's musical journey began in 2016 when he picked up a copy of FL Studio (which he still uses to this day.) He was merely 13 years old at the time. With nothing but the Internet as his guide, John's managed to teach himself music production, music theory, sound design, composing, arranging, transcribing, and even supplementary skills like photo editing, video editing, and visual design. His fiery passion for knowledge granted him an unmatched repertoire that only continues to expand. Over the years, John would occasionally post his work on social media. He even put two songs on streaming (now defunct.) However, his self-doubt restrained him from truly embracing public attention and showing the world who he is. A near-decade's worth of experience with virtually nothing to show for it: one of John's biggest life regrets. However, something changed within him throughout his time in college. At long last, he's found not only the drive to grow his ideas to completion but also the confidence & pride to release them to the public. As the saying goes: better late than never. The dawn of this new mindset is represented in "Self-Infect My Mind": the song he officially considers his "first" release . . . the first of many, many, many more to come. John is currently a senior at St. John's University, majoring in marketing. He is to earn his bachelor's this May and, thanks to the 5-year fast-track program he's in, will earn his master's just one year afterward.
