A fresh release from INDVGO delivers a bit of an edge in terms of its overtone, but it also boasts a lot of character which I think is one of the things you end up really liking the most.

The production of this track has an alternative feel to it. It's got a heavy, deep rooted beat that hits pretty hard, but there's also all kinds of synthesizers that are decimated and distorted, giving it that more impactful and grittier feel.

This is definitely a track that has spacious undertones as well, so it kind of bleeds into a filmic or cinematic Vibe as well.

I think one of my favorite aspects about the track is how experimental the production actually is. It works super well for how the vocals come across which are a bit smoother and more R&B oriented.

The track is called "Slide In" and I feel like it stands tall amongst many, simply because it is outside the box. It's blending those more alternative genres with elements of hip hop and R&B, but it does it all in a seamless fashion.

The track has a depth to it. Layers are created by different kinds of synths and keys that come together and build out this robust atmosphere, and it's very easy to get pulled into it.

INDVGO sounds like she's having a damn good time laying this track down too. You can feel the vibe that she's into and it's very infectious. She's got a particular kind of swagger and attitude but her vocals are very silky at the same time.

I feel like that's part of what makes the song a bit special. It's the combination of the edginess from the synths, keys, and beats with that almost soothing vocal approach.

On the experimental side of things, she doesn't hold back in terms of adding different kinds of effects to the instrumentation and the vocals, bringing out some more of that addictive sense of vastness that the song displays.

As the song opens up, there are different kinds of keys and synthesizers that start getting built in, and some of those have a Reverb effect, along with backing vocals that are also drenched in the same kind of effect, giving you that sense of distance.

In the song focuses a bit around certain kinds of tensions in a relationship but there's also excitement there as well. It's about leaving a situation a bit open so that the other person can have an easier time deciding what they want to do.

I like this aspect because it's a sentiment that I feel like a lot of us can relate to. I think we've all been there and, because of that, the song makes perfect sense.

But it's not just the lyrics, it's the way it's performed that really hits particularly well. She's got a tone to her voice that feels good to listen to, and it sort of blends in with the waves of sonic presence that the rest of the instrumentation brings to the table.

It's something you can sort of swim through. In a way, although it's edgy and a bit alternative, it feels dreamy.

This is a song best listened to with headphones on so you can really take in all of those different kinds of layers that it gives off. It's quite brilliant and I feel like the mix was also well done.

I don't always talk about the mix of a track, but in this particular case, I feel like it's so important. This song was meant to give you a certain kind of aesthetic. There's a certain almost carefree element to it, and that comes through because of how that final Mix feels.

The track surrounds you and sort of swallows you up. I mean that in the best way possible.

This was a short but really engulfing single that felt like it came from someplace authentic.

You can tell that this is an artist who pulls from life experience and the song serves almost like the soundtrack to a certain chapter in her life.

The cool thing about that is that we can relate to it. So perhaps this serves as part of the soundtrack to a certain chapter in our own lives as well.

You'll have to find out for yourself. Go check this song out, put on some headphones, kick back, and drink this in.

You will not be sorry.
