Icarus Phoenix releases a very big record spanning a beautiful and almost intimate set of approaches that give the listener insight and detail lyrically along with a sound that fits into folk rock and indie-rock.
The 37 song release is out via Telos Tapes out of Baltimore and you can pick up the double CD on their BandCamp site.
BIO: Icarus Phoenix is from Baltimore, MD. Its members are Drew Danburry (gtr/vox), Eli Sims (drums), Leena Rhodes (gtr/vox/synth), Brendan Russell (bass), Peyton Rodeffer (gtr/vox/etc) as well as Andrew Young (drums, percussion). The band originally formed in Missoula, Montana (2020) and has had multiple lineups, one of them playing Treefort Music Fest in Boise, ID (2021). Drew Danburry has independently toured and released records since 2002. He's released over 400 songs on over 20 albums/13 EPs and played 800 + shows worldwide. Including 2 Daytrotter sessions, 3 invitations to Pop Montreal, and 1 to Pygmalion Music Festival. He's accomplished this long list of achievements almost entirely DIY.
