Canadian brothers Jason Riven (27, Lead/Bass), Jason Lenn (25, Guitar), and Jason Milo (23, Drums) form the band The Jasons. From backyard jam sessions near Vancouver to London’s music scene, the trio creates provocative, politically aware music. Since 2023, they have collaborated with the artist collective Hypnotic Neurotic Toys, producing socially engaged projects. Their single “No Papers (But Human Rights)” challenges ICE’s detention of undocumented families in the USA, combining urgent rhythms with a clear message: human rights above bureaucracy. The Jasons are energy, resistance, and solidarity on stage. Song Description – “No Papers (But Human Rights)” “No Papers (But Human Rights)” confronts the human cost of immigration enforcement in the USA, particularly the detention of families without legal status. Through vivid storytelling, the song captures fear, loss, and the silencing of voices, while highlighting the resilience and enduring hope of affected families. Politically charged and emotionally powerful, the track is a call for empathy, solidarity, and the recognition of universal human rights.
