Hazel gaze Drops a Massive Album and Music Videos TO Go With It

A righteous new single from Hazel Gaze delivers a classic hard rock and blues infused soundscape but it also comes with an important message that seems endlessly relevant no matter when or where you are.

"Dirty Little Secrets" is about exactly that, but it is packed with underlying subtext along with a fierce set of vocals and guitar tones that really lend hand to driving this song into a massive sonic rock sound.

One of the things I adore most about this track is how it blends in sub-genres constantly because it's got this set of organs that really fill the space and add meat to the song so that it has a bit of a classic rock undertone at times but it's edginess that heavier tonality.

The whole track is delivered with so much character and personality that you really get attached to that very quickly but again, it comes with message that people can take in different ways until you watch the music video.

Once you watch the music video you get a feel for its political understanding at times, but it also branches off from there just simply talking about how everyone has dirty little secrets, and this is something that is just a part of life for a lot of us.

The guitar work across this track is outstanding and it does indeed come with a Soulful and super tight guitar solo that you can tell just felt good to play because it sounds good to listen to and this adds to that bluesy feel that the song boasts a lot of the time as well.

What really gets me about this track the most is its energy because it's absolutely electric to the point where it feels like some of this track was even recorded live on the floor possibly and the players involved are just feeding off of each other's energies the entire time.

Even if I'm wrong about the whole live on the floor thing, listening to this song makes you want to go see them play it live simply because if the energy is captured like that on record, then seeing it performed right in your face must be awesome.

Upon listening to this track I took a little bit of a deep dive into the band's back catalog and I'm glad that I did because there's a lot of amazing releases that these guys have that full under slightly different categories but always have that rock acquaintance and although some are more colorful or poppy, there's always that great edge and character that comes with every single track that these guys release.

This to me, is like an arena rock single and these guys do have that aesthetic going pretty strong with a lot of these releases especially the single, but I do have to mention another one that's called "Who's Sorry Now" for which they also have an awesome music video that does show a little bit of a different side of the band's songwriting and style.

Now, both of these tracks belong to an album simply called Hazel Gaze II which spans nine tracks and delivers loads of fun and that classic blues rock approach.

"Dirty Little Secrets" is an amazing place to start if you're going to really delve into the releases from these guys and it's a great way to get a feel for the band's sonic presence and how they have a lot of heart and message behind the songs they release.

This album is clearly coming from a band that have a real love for their craft and when I say that I don't just mean driving drums or ripping guitars, belting vocals or walking bass lines, I mean writing songs together to put out into the world so that people can feel something from them.

I think it's important to have songs with messages and these guys deliver a lot of that.

Check this record out as soon as you can and do not be afraid to turn it nice and loud because it sounds even better that way.
