Fitzkee Brothers - River Runs Dry

The new release from Fitzkee Brothers has arrived!


A fresh direction but true to their core!


Alex and Drew Fitzkee began their musical journey early on and have since had their chance to hone in on their chops and style.​

"Alex and I have always had a keen interested music. We started playing at a young age and have developed into a tight rhythm section over the years. We played in several bands, which eventually evolved into the “Fitzkee Brothers” where we have had a unique opportunity to play with a number of talented singers and musicians on guitar, keyboards and auxiliary percussion." Says Drew of the band's beginnings.

The Brothers have already played with the likes of Post Malone, Oteil Burbridge, Jorma Kaukonen, and Jack Casady.

Fitzkee Brothers is a group of two brothers (Drew 20 & Alex 18) who are amazingsingers, songwriters and musicians. Post Malone called them, "the mini f-cking AllmanBrothers"at a backstage jam in Philadelphia.

 

The Brothers have been amazing audiences with their killer live performances ever since December of 2018 when they took the stage at their first full band rock show at Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats neartheir home in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

 

They never looked back, playing their style of high- energy jam band rock & roll almost constantly before intimate and large audiences in DE, MD, VA, DC, NC, TN, PA, FL, MS, OH, GA, TX, NJ and NY. The group just began yet another summer tour of the east coast of the United States with Melody Trucks, daughter of famed Allman Brothers Band drummer, Butch Trucks and cousin to Derek and Duane. The Brothers have had the privilege to play with many great musicians including Post Malone, Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Melvin Seals, Ron Holloway, Oteil Burbridge, Robert Randolph, George Porter Jr, Starchild Jr, Devon Allman, DuaneBetts, Luther Dickinson, Robert Randolph, Kingfish, Vaylor and Melody Trucks, Joe Marcinek, Eliot Lewis, Robbie Bruce Katz, Jamie Mclean, and Grace Bowers. Their music is all original with a sound heavily influenced by the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead and The Band with Foo Fighters energy.
