The latest Dyr Faser release is a wildly eclectic record that touches on a virtual ton of genres with a beautifully performed set of songs that take you on a journey.
BIO: Dyr Faser began as a project from songwriter Eric Boomhower who focused on recording songs from his home studio and experimenting with sound as he worked on his approach.
Since its fruition in 2015, the project evolved and expanded.

"I’ve found that Touching Embers evolves and grows in meaning as I continue to listen and perform this collection of songs. I was able to express my thoughts and emotions through writing these melodies and poetically condensed stream of conscious words. The album artwork has the mystery and rawness I was hoping for with this release, ominous and deep with movement and gifts of light behind the darkness. The songs Eric and I wrote are recordings of the human condition with the hurt and happiness we lived through while creating this album" Amelia May of Dyr Faser.
In 2017 offers to play in Europe came in and it was proving to be harder to keep our three busy schedules aligned. That led to Amelia coming on board. Amelia was a DYR FASER fan and I had seen her at my shows but it was not until I saw a video of her performing her songs that I knew she was the missing piece. I loved her voice, guitar playing and style…so great. We met up and a couple of weeks later we went on a US east coast tour and then immediately off to Europe to play. In 2018 we toured in Italy and the US to great response as well. Over the years we have released a lot of albums and we always try to push ourselves to top the one before. We spend all of our time together and continuously play live so our collaboration is sharp, focused, and fun.," says Eric of the projects evolution.

After releasing over a dozen albums and EP's, Touching Embers serves as a testament to where they are at with their sound right now.
