Bay Area songwriter and producer Izzy the Gent returns with new music from his indie-rock project Everything But The Everything. Available tomorrow, October 24, Izzy will release A&B Sides Volume 3, a double-single available worldwide on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms. The project features two indie and new wave doused tracks: “Never Said Goodbye” with Rykarda Parasol and “Horse Bit” with longtime collaborator Sophia Prise. This marks the first Everything But The Everything release of 2025, following 2024’s A&B Sides Volume 2, which also included music featuring Sophia Prise.
Like his past singles, Izzy the Gent builds each track around the voice he feels is the perfect fit, pairing bass-driven production with guest vocalists who bring the story to life. Both songs on A&B Sides Volume 3 were produced by Izzy and Rex Shelverton, with the music co-written with close friends and live bandmates, including guitarist Ian Dowd (Fire In The Hamptons), guitarist Andrew Lund (Thought Leaders, Foreign Made, Lower Forty-Eight), and drummer Chad Roxxit (The Hot Takes, Chad and Scott).
“Never Said Goodbye” ft. Rykarda ParasolFor longtime fans of Rykarda Parasol, her contribution brings her unmistakable style to Everything But The Everything. Known for her semi-autobiographical songwriting, darkly-tinged vocals, and off-center delivery, Parasol has carved a unique path as a San Francisco native who found a devoted audience across Europe. Following her acclaimed fifth album Tuesday Morning (released October 24, 2023), she continues to showcase her ability to blend psych, mid-60s pop, and shadowy chic influences into modern soundscapes. Her history of international touring, self-styled album artwork, and collaborations with producers both in San Francisco and Paris highlight her as one of the most distinctive voices in indie music today.
“Horse Bit” ft. Sophia PriseOn “Horse Bit,” Izzy reunites with frequent collaborator Sophia Prise, whose ethereal yet darkly spirited electronic pop sound is instantly recognizable. Raised in Portland, Oregon, Sophia grew up experiencing vivid audio-lucid dreams that inspired her to pursue music, eventually earning her Master of Music at the San Francisco Conservatory. Over the years, she has refined her signature style of inventive, mood-driven soundscapes, eclectic beat-making, and impassioned lyricism. A classically trained vocalist and versatile producer, Sophia has toured internationally, worked across multiple genres, and brings both haunting beauty and technical mastery to her performances.
Upcoming Shows:
10.25.25 - O'reilly’s Pub - San Francisco, CA
11.05.25 - The Ivy Room - Albany, CA (Bang the Bay)
