Elektra Nicotra

Elektra Nicotra is a Sicilian singer, songwriter and musician. She grew up surrounded by music, developing a natural predisposition for singing and composing. She began performing at festivals, kermesses and clubs at the age of sixteen, with various formations. In 2017 she released her first concept album, “Awakening”, with the artistic production of Giuvazza Maggiore (Eugenio Finardi, Levante, Loredana Bertè). The album was warmly welcomed by the specialized press and the public, with appearances on Webnotte - Repubblica TV, Edicola Fiore on SKY and over three hundred Italian and international radio stations. This was followed by the publication of the single “Vulcano”, the only one in Italian, which was promoted with a series of concerts in Sicily and London, where she performed at Spitalfields Market. Between summer and autumn 2021 he released the first two singles (“Specchiu” and “Salih”), in Sicilian dialect, which anticipate a new concept album, "Menzannotti", released on June 21, 2024. A mix of tradition, blues, British rock and Middle Eastern contaminations; sung both in sicilian dialect and english.
