UK based one man band Common Orchids bringing catchy riffs, dirty rock and acoustic vibes! All music recorded by multi instrumentalist Matthew Lowers. Love, life, tax corruption its tough out there so look after one another. After years of playing in bands as a drummer and bassist following the break up of his band and marriage Matthew found himself with no fixed abode for almost a year, working two jobs as a Firefighter and refurbishment of properties, "I'd work all night seeing some horrible sights, then start painting a house the next day!" I had my guitar so started writing songs. I moved into a small house and just had a sofa and fridge for a while so writing continued. I soon met my now wife from Romania who picked me up and my life changed! Now a father and supporting family, still working two jobs but I manage to carve out time to write and self fund my recording. I write strong lyrics from my real life experiences, drugs misuse, addiction, mental health, and corruption, love and life.... ❤️
