Chuck Roehm



Chuck’s music is referred to as “an Invitation to Consciousness” by one of his fans. Over 150 streaming services currently have 22 songs by Chuck. Over 10 new songs are currently being recorded and released by him this year. Chuck first learned clawhammer banjo, then guitar and harmonica. He started writing his own music to express his lyrical ideas, the melodies running through his head, as well as his perceptions about life and living. His upbeat style of music has been described as “Cosmic Folk.” Chuck records at Raven Cries Recording Studio on Vashon Island. His recording musicians are the percussionist from Big Brother and the Holding Company, the bassist who is quite well known in American jazz circles, the mandolin player who is world renown and toured the world before settling on Vashon Island, the harmonica player who is listed in the top 10 harmonica players in America, a multi-instrumentalist horn player, a well-known piano player in the greater Seattle area and a high demand fiddle player. There are more songs he is working on in the studio that have gained acclaim and enthusiasm from listeners in live venues.
