With The Calling EP, Black Orchids come through with an invigorating set of layers that hit in the form of grunge, heavy-handed alt-rock, deepening and vast metal undertones and a soulful approach.
The release features some of the band's best work delivering edgy bit spacious sounds that breed an honest and powerful feel bringing out the heavier elements in alt-rock but keeping things authentic and with a deeper and layered aesthetic.
The London based group kicked things off with the Blood Moon EP in 2015 and has released several singles, EP's and a full-length album since then.
The Calling serves as a testament to where they are at with their sound right now.
The record is available for streaming and download on all major outlets and they are currently working on new material for upcoming releases.
