Bringing a modern blend of K-pop, EDM and hip hop locally to the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) music scene - ah-Na hails from Ellicott City just south of Baltimore, MD where one of the East Coasts most vibrant Korean-American communities is nestled along the I-95 corridor. Her writing is heavily influenced from early 2000s pop, dance and punk - as well as classical and jazz. Her debut EP was written and produced by, and recorded and mixed at, South Port Studios in Baltimore, MD - an local artist-owned collective founded by JP Lin - a NYC native who founded the studio in 2024. The EP's production blends traditional in studio work and recording with the latest AI music production tools. ah-Na, JP and the team at South Port Studios are working on her self titled full album release in early 2026.
