A vivacious new single from Emanuela delivers a refreshing and character riddled sound and approach with a wonderful combination of edginess and color that gives it such a robust personality that you end up getting attached to that right from the start.
"Blame It On The Jack" it comes across with a heavy swagger and that comes from the way that she performs her vocals with such perfect sort of attitude along with the soundscape of the song being a pop-coated but soul infused banger.
This track incorporates some great funk undertones that give the song a deep groove that makes it so incredibly danceable and infectious that you just can't look away.
This is one of those songs that you can't help but start moving to. If you're driving in the car listening to it, you're going to be shaking your butt in your seat, if you're listening to it at home you'll be dancing around the living room, it just has this vibrant and energetic feel to it.
The beat grabs you right away along with some of the keys and as the song gets deeper in, it starts to rock out a little bit and bring more of those funk elements into play and the whole thing just has such a growth to it. It builds up naturally so it's very forward moving and the longer you listen to the song the more drive it ends up having.
This is one of those songs that speaks volumes for the artist because she's able to give such a presence to the performance and the whole song becomes sort of animated because you get engulfed in the character that's given off which is something very unique.
They're more than a few surprises around the corner and the thing about this track that makes it so appealing is the honesty that's given off as well and this is something that's refreshing.
This also has such a wonderful array of instrumentation, and the guitar work is outstanding giving the track an added sort of boppiness that lets you Groove to it even harder and it never really lets up energy wise from beginning to end.
Those are Bountiful and Soulful with different kinds of tracking that add a little more depth to the song when she doubles up her vocals at times or throws in a random harmony.
There are also some great breakdown sections that musically showcase different instruments for chunks of time but the whole thing really is a very well balanced but excitable piece of music that makes you want to dig deeper into Emanuela as an artist.
The reason for this is because her style combines different genres and this track is indeed a genre bending type of song but all in all, upon listening to this song I took a little bit of a deep dive into her back catalog on Spotify and I'm glad that I did because she's got a bunch of releases including a full length album from 2022 that roll outstanding and each show a little bit of a different side of her personality and her artistry.
She is one of those artists that make you want to listen to everything so you can listen to how the sound evolved from the start until now.
An outstanding single from an artist that I'm definitely going to be paying more attention to from here on out, take a listen to this single when you get a chance and be ready to groove.
