A Soulful Single from Lina Territo has Arrived

ree

A new release from Lina Territo delivers quite an impactful breed of soul with pop-infused undertones, gospel style backing vocals, and such a heavy-handed impact that you can feel the warmth coming from this track.

"This Love's Gonna Last" speaks volumes for the artist as she really just lets that vocal approach come through with a powerhouse sort of flow, inviting tenderness, and a robust personality that you end up really getting attached to right from the start.

This is an inviting track. You want to jump into her world because the way the song is built delivers this thick atmosphere, and it's that aesthetic that sort of wraps itself around you and keeps you right where it wants to.

You have acoustic guitars, organs that really just add beautiful texture to the song and also help drive the soul and warm tonality of everything, electric guitars that bring on the Blues with a sort of slightly fuzz-toned feel and flavorful licks and performances, and live percussion.

All of this comes together like puzzle pieces, and Lina's vocals are the glue that holds it all together.

One of my favorite aspects of this track is that it feels like it was recorded live on the floor. You can almost feel the fluctuation of energy between the players, and it puts you right there in the moment with them.

Of course, I wasn't there, so I'm not sure how it was recorded, exactly, but it certainly produces that live performance vibe so well that listening to the song Alone makes you want to go see them perform it live, right in your face.

I also love how the vocals build and build as the track unfolds.

She does such an outstanding job of driving the sentiment home with a full heart and beautiful tonality, but it's the way she picks up these certain sections of singing so that there are layers of harmonies that come in feeling incredibly lush and full-bodied.

You also get such descriptive lyrics at times, so you can paint vivid pictures in your head while you listen, and you can hear this authenticity in the way that she performs.

The track is super well-balanced dynamically. Again, those energies are unstoppable, but there is this natural and forward-moving flow to the track that sort of reels you in.

There are also elements to the song that let it feel like it's alive and breathing. They're a great bridge section and guitar solos that let the song sort of come to a climax and then exhale back down, so you have another calm before the storm.

Just that sense of liveliness is incredible.

There's something completely free-spirited about this track and the way that it is performed from start to finish.

It is certainly a song that stays with you long after it's ended, and some of that silky, smooth blues and soul just doesn't let go.

This is something I really enjoyed about the track. It bounces around in your brain for hours after it has ended, and the only way to satiate that is to go listen to it again.

It also has this sort of sensual and cinematic backbone to it that helps drive it even further.

This was quite a beautiful and gracefully performed track that has a certain kind of elegance to it, but also a little bit of edginess as well. There is that raw energy and honesty, descriptive lyrics, and drive that come through on a constant basis, and there are points in the song with so many gorgeous vocals happening that you can feel it in your bones.

There's a certain spirit to this track.

You'll have to listen to it to understand exactly what I mean, so I think you should do that right now.

Now, this is a track you should listen to with headphones on, simply because there are different layers, and the way the song breathes and plays through adds a little bit more flavor with headphones on.

This way, you can hear all of those vocals, organs, guitars, and how the energies come together to create something sort of intense in a way.

Dive into this track as soon as you can and see what it does for you.
