"Starting to Believe" is a melodic, skate punk anthem by the Long Island, NY-based band Half Dizzy. Originally featured on their 2025 album Yard Sale, the track received renewed attention in May 2026 with a fresh remix by Scott Hallquist of Ten Foot Pole.
According to guitarist and vocalist Dan Marchelewski, it is the fastest song the band has ever recorded, featuring relentlessly rapid drums, "nuts" bass riffs, and shredding lead guitar work.
Amidst the chaotic speed, the arrangement drops into a heavy, crushing breakdown designed for the mosh pit.
Lyrically, the song serves as a raw and honest aspiration for self-improvement. It dives straight into the vulnerability of confronting your own personal flaws and captures the daily mental battle required to overcome mistakes, break negative cycles, and fight to become a better version of yourself.
