A Blend of Classic and Fresh Styles from Sam E Hues and Nino Breeze

If you are looking for some hard-hitting, semi-classic rap and hip hop, then the new track from Sam E Hues should absolutely do the trick.

Sam collaborates with Nino Breeze on a new single dubbed "Chrome", which features quick-witted, edgy, snappy approaches to performance, as they bang out loads of lyrics through those verses and do it in a way that becomes addictive.

Both of the artists on the track hit it with everything they have, delivering loads of persona with each line, and even the intro of the track, when they're just doing shout-outs, is a door opener for the energy you are about to endure.

You can hear right off the bat that the track has a massive driving energy behind it, as the beat has all kinds of samples and effects; it's pretty hard but also comes through with classic gangster rap-style keys reminiscent of producers like Dr Dre, for example.

The way that they take those styles and breed something new with it is really what makes this song so good.

The track hits hard, and the music video is even harder.

The video showcases both artists doing their thing, giving you a lot of artist presence visually, but you also have bouncing cars and scantily clad women washing them.

There's definitely a lot to look at, to say the least.

But that's the attitude. That's the style of these kinds of tracks.

The video and track itself both give off this lifestyle that we used to see in videos all the time, but now seems to be gone.

I miss this kind of stuff because it gives me a little bout of nostalgia, but again, it brings in a fresher vibe at the same time.

It's a real combination of influences, and between the two of them you can absolutely hear a lot of them laced throughout the songs unfolding.

There's plenty of Southern swagger given off all over this, and Sam drops these lines so quickly, and the way the lyrics fall together is just outstanding.

This is definitely something for younger and older fans of the genre.

There are certain segments of the track where every third word rhymes, and when you listen to it as a whole, it's just a ton to chew on.

Of course, this is part of the fun of songs like this one.

Nino Breeze follows Sam's lead and comes in with whipping lyrics, sharp and witty, quick and memorable.

These are artists that sort of feed off of each other's energies.

It must have been a blast to track the song, and obviously it was fun to film the video as well.

These guys are in their zone, and it makes them unstoppable.

The groove is deep-pocketed, the Swagger is robust, and the whole song hits with a memorable sound.

One of the things that blows me away about this track is the simple fact that you can clearly see and hear that there was a vision these guys had for this piece of work. From the bouncing lowriders to the classic synths and keys that came from Sam's head, you can see the obvious depth of what his vision was.

Some people would call this a blend of gangster and street rap, some drill, and more. For me, it blends the old, classic styles with something newer, faster, and smarter.

Again, those older influences are always showing face throughout the course of the song, but they bring that freshness to the palette, and it makes you want to jump up and down with the song itself.

Being able to portray that classic street lifestyle is something that not everyone can pull off anymore.

These guys do it with a polish on top. That's what I really like about it.

It's got the hood undertone, but it's got a shine and a polish to the overtone, so everything feels really well produced and heavy while still keeping to that vision.

Watch this video so you can see exactly what I mean.

This is a song you want to crank up. Don't miss out on it; watch the music video, or if you're in the car, just play it loud.

This is an absolute banger from start to finish.
