With the release of the self-titled Rooftop Screamer II album, the artist takes a new approach to some classic genres to create something all its own. Laced with character, an edgy and colorful undertone, and plenty of hooks, the record boasts the aesthetic of alternative pop-rock anthems.

The first single "Dirty Sister" grabs you with a seriously catchy riff and guitar tone that gives off an edgy funk approach.

"The single is about just that, a dirty sister. Inspired by an old girlfriend who had a lovely younger sister. The track is built with a strong, driving style with hooky riffs and harmonies."  explains songwriter Roman Tytla of his single.

Although the singles speak volumes for the album, to get a full understanding of where Rooftop Screamer is coming from, the record should be heard in its entirety.

"For me, other than vocals, harmonies, and guitar style, I don’t hear a particular sound. I'll leave that up to the listener. As far as how my sound has evolved, it’s gone from crappy to not-so-crappy.” says Roman of his evolution in songwriting and production.

Rooftop Screamer is the brainchild of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Roman Tytla who began his infatuation with music as a child watching The Partridge Family which would play a song at the end of each episode.

Having a crush on Shirley Jones and a want to sing and play like David Cassidy he went on to pick up a guitar and had been performing and writing with bands ever since.

Through his musical life, Tytla had the opportunity to learn from A-list artists and songwriters along the way and keeps exploring new sounds all the time.

The Rooftop Screamer II album is available on most digital outlets for streaming and download and the artist is always working on material for upcoming releases.
