After months of work, I am excited to show the world my new single “Strangers”. I collaborated with two of my good friends to create this acoustic, singer-songwriter ballad. The song was written in May of this year during the end of my undergraduate, and through a series of multiple sporadic practise and recording sessions with Hong Kong based vocalist (Amelia) & Manchester based violinist (Frankie), I ended up finishing the song for its debut on December 17th. These practise sessions were all recorded on my old Sony camcorder which ended up being used for the music video. The recordings nicely showcase the song’s creation process from start to finish. The entire production, recording, mixing, and mastering was done by myself in my Manchester bedroom, and really marks a huge improvement from my previous production attempts.
