Although the single speaks volumes for the album, to get a full understanding of where Micah Reynolds is really coming from, the full album is a must hear. 

 

"I think I actually found my sound with this project. I combine all sorts of genres and influences in this album, but at the same time it still feels very original and I really think there's a texture to my music you don’t hear a lot.  " says the songwriter of creating the album.

 

Micah Reynolds and his journey with art goes a long way back. His first actual passion was drawing. The idea of creating his own worlds and characters and letting them out on paper was something he loved. 

 

As a kid, Reynolds was surrounded by plenty of jazz, folk, and psych-rock music to name a few genres.  He played in his high school jazz band and has been in choir for as long as he can even remember since he's always had a love for singing. It was a little later that he began getting influenced by EDM and rap.

 

When he was 12 years old his mom got him an FL Studio license, MIDI Keyboard, and some cheap mono speakers from Walmart. The first two years of creating music was mainly focused on making beats to sell online. It wasn't long before the beats started becoming more popular on sites like Beatstars. 

 

As inspiring as this was, Reynolds began getting bored with what was happening and didn't really like what some of the artists were doing on his beats so he decided to track his own vocals on them instead.
